AUDITED RESULTS
 

We have filed all necessary papers to The Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi for Registration under the FCRA-1976 since 16 months and have not yet received any reply from them. We had stopped using the fund deposited in the Bal Sohum Parivar of USA account. We explained this problem to our members and requested them to send their contributions through their NRE accounts in India. I am very glad to have received their cooperation, which allowed us to send the required funds to the schools uninterrupted.

On 20th Feb 2006 we sent another letter to The Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.  In context of this letter we have again resumed the use of the funds collected in the account of Bal Sohum Parivar of USA, Inc from the 15th March 2006 assuming permission has been granted under FCRA 1976. The copy of this letter is attached.

I have attached three files, which explain the complete details related to the utilization of the contributions received from our donators.

File No.2: Copy of letter to home ministry department for Registration under FCRA

Note: The school year in India is from June to May.  Therefore the accounts are kept from June to May in these files.

We expected to raise Rs. 30,00,000 per year for the Adhoi School Project starting from Dec 2002 till Date.  This would require total funds of Rs. 1,05,00,000 to be raised.  Against this, we were able to raise Rs. 1,00,83,000 in these 3.5 years.  This short fall of Rs. 4,17,000 was funded from loans taken against our earlier fixed deposits.  Further, liquidating these fixed deposits as required will now satisfy these loans.
